sorry i'm quite new to this site, so i dont really know where to post questions.
so here i go, is there a tutorial on "how to cut bits and pieces out of a avi file?"

also is it possile to just save a movie onto your computer from a dvd, after decrypting it onto your computer, without all its menu's and special features that come in/with the dvd.

I use a program called DVDFab to cut out parts of DVDs to include menus and special features. DVDFab is not free.

As far as cutting out just segments of a video, I find that Nero works best for this. Once again, not a free program.
